VirtualA5000 V 1.40 Hard Disc drive
VirtualA5000 comes supplied with the latest universal !Boot sequence and the standard set of RISC OS applications and utilities. Also included in the installer are some filing utilities, such as ArcFS, Sparkplug and others. The VirtualA5000 installer also includes all the manuals, DrawWorks Millennium, Mr Clippy, clip art files and Ovation.
You can also install a set of optional software collections into the RISC OS hard disc directory. These optional software collections are not required for VirtualA5000 to function, but are provided free of charge with VirtualA5000 to give users a wide range of quality RISC OS software that they may wish to use.
These software packs are as follows.
Shareware Pack - This contains Shareware and Careware software, use of these products will be subject to the licence agreements supplied with each application. In addition you should be aware that use of any of these applications for more than a particular period (normally 30 days) will require a separate payment to be made to the author concerned, or in the case of Careware, to a charitable organisation.
Public Domain and Freeware Applications Pack - This contains Public Domain and Freeware software, use of these products will be subject to the licence agreements supplied with each application, however you will not normally need to pay a fee to use these applications. This pack contains a selection of the best PD and Freeware for RISC OS, included are desktop utilities, design packages, graphics tools and much more...
Public Domain and Freeware Games Pack - This contains Public Domain and Freeware games, use of these products will be subject to the licence agreements supplied with each game, however you will not normally need to pay a fee to play them. This pack contains a selection of the best PD and Freeware games for RISC OS.
Programmers Pack - This contains Public Domain and Freeware software aimed at those who are interested in programming under RISC OS. Use of these products will be subject to the licence agreements supplied with each application, you will not normally need to pay a fee to use these applications, however any program you produce using them may be subject to certain licence restrictions.
Assuming a user was to install VirtualA5000 and all the packs then they would end up with a disk build as shown below. Note that we have colour coded items to show which pack they are in. These colour codes should not be used to indicate the copyright status of individual applications. You should always read the licence conditions supplied with each application. Those shown in black are installed as part of VirtualA5000 itself.
