After buying VA5000 version 1.2 CD a long time ago, I finally got round to having a look at the C compiler GCC preinstalled in the VA CD. How do I get it to work?

When ever i try and run gcc from the Command line I get a error message about not enough memory and asks me in increase the Wimpslot?

Any ideas how to fix it? Currently running the latest version of VA 1.4.

Thanks.

Rich

I've tried the lastest BETA 3 and the latest stable version - both with the same error messages.

Can you please advise of a version number of GCC that have been tried and tested with VA5000?

I do have acorn C/C++ compiler I could use, but thats over 9 years out of date. At least GCC is more recent.

Thanks.
