Just re-installed VA StrongArm on a new computer running W7. The install from the cd went ok and the requested unlock code seemed to work, however when I try to run VA I get a windows error message: 'Acorn RiscPC Emulator with Risc OS Adjust has stopped working'. If I look at the error detail the two things that stand out are:
Problem event name - Appcrash
Fault module name - atapicd.dll
Can I resolve this problem.

p.s. Checked the W7 error help instructions on this website but with no luck so fare.

Things that come to mind are:

- Does the atapicd.dll file exist? AFAICT it should be in something like the C:\Program Files\VirtualAcorn\VirtualRPC-AdjustSA\Plugins\atapicd folder.

- Can you install (or overwrite it) from a backup copy?

Looked at the link viewtopic.phpf=12&t=595 and did what was suggested, using Teamviewer to the remotely link to the machine at work. VA loads and runs ok but I will need to check it out next time I'm at work.
