Check where your VirtualRPC is installed, you might not have put it in the default location. It should be in C:\Program Files\VirtualAcorn\VirtualRPC-AdjustSA
Make sure that the path in the CMOS Restore installer matches the actual path of the VRPC.
I have it in C:\VirtualRPC-AdjustSA and I made sure the cmos doodah went into the same place. It didn't say 'that folder doesn't exist. Do you want me to create one?'

Check all the parts of the VirtualRPC are present e.g. is HardDisc4 there?
Have you "buggered" up the HostFS mounts and "lost" HardDisc4?
If that doesn't do it then you could try re-installing VRPC over the top of your current installation.
Yes, I have managed to retain HardDisc4 and its contents, and I believe all the other components of vrpc.
... But maybe not. I feel a re-install coming on.
Thanks.
