Did it according to the instructions, Hard Reset. No new drive icon on the iconbar.

Did you do this via the VirtualRPC Options.HostFS window? Or via DrivePop?

If via VRPC Options then you need to quit and re-load VRPC for the new drive to appear. A "hard reset" just re-starts RISC OS, not VirtualRPC.

Ok. That worked, thanks.
The wording in the (Windows) manual will need adjusting; it says

"Adding a new HostFS Mount
[...] In order to use this new mount you will now need to reset RISC OS. Go to the VirtualRPC-Adjust action menu, and click on Hard Reset. When the RISC OS desktop re-appears you will see your new mount as a hard disc on the RISC OS icon bar to the right of the HardDisc4 icon."

When the Hard Reset didn't work I tried quitting RO via the switcher iconbar menu as well. To no avail, of course.

Cheers
Brian

Sorry about the mistake in the manual - it must have been there for a few years  I'll correct it when I get a chance.
