Can't install Jan 2009 HostFS upgrade

I thought I submitted this a few days ago but can't find my post. The problem is that when I attempt to install the latest (Jan 2009) upgrade to HostFS, I get an error message saying that I have an invalid product. I think I got the same message when I tried to install the previous version but, for some reason lost in the mists of time, I didn't come to the forum to query it.

Am I doing something wrong or have I a corrupt download or....?

Any help appreciated.

What version of RISC OS are you running?

The RISCOS 6 installer has faile to copy an importanrt file.
From your Backup !Boot (as created by the RO6 installer) find the file:

!Boot.Utils.Version.txt

and copy this into the "new" (currently used) RISC OS 6 Boot sequence.
Now quit VRPC and try installing the update again.
