Hi guys,

I try to install VirtualRPC-AdjustSA on a Windows Server 2003 SP2
The installation goes well but when i try to start the Emulator there happends nothing

Anybody some experience with 2003 server and virtualrpc?

The problem with the Windows 2003 server was that there was no audio card installed
I installed a virtual audio card and the program works

Yes, sorry I should have remembered about the sound card. My excuse is that it's been so long since I've seen a machine without a soundcard fitted as standard

Yes Aaron i understand that a soundcard is very very standard these days
But on a server (and then i don't mean a workstation used as a server) it isn't actually
I should had a look at the system requirements and then ask you the question if the soundcard is really important

Maybe you can put some exclamation marks behind the soundcard in the minimal system requirements

You are quite right. Servers don't come with soundcards. I really ought to have remembered, becaue my Fujitsu Core2 server (??99 new!) didn't have one - so I added a ??2 USB plug in one from eBay and then it worked a treat.

Still at least the VRPC is now working on the Win 2003 machine, that's what really matters
