Hi,
I've got POPStar and NewsHound set to regularly check for new email/news, but this results in annoying "could not make connection" messages popping up when I'm not connected to the internet.
Is there a way to check from inside VRPC whether there's a valid network connection present? Both POPStar and NewsHound have an option to only check for new items if a certain system variable if present...

How are you at writing BBC Basic Applications?
The SocketFS module works very well on Virtual Acorn and can be used to test for the presence of an Internet connection.
