?? Has anyone successfully used a barcode reader??
I have tried various Datalogic barcode readers. Mainly the USB Heron D130. These always send characters successfully into Windows Notepad but when sending into a Virtual Acorn Adjust SA basic application get typically 6 out of 8 characters and sometimes lose the case of the letters. Each read is different.
The barcode reader with the same settings works OK with an Iyonix.
One can tell the barcode reader to delay between each character. So with one 100 ms the characters are written pretty slowly but without improvement so it is not a problem with speed.
I was hoping to try an older Wedge Gryphon D100 so may be able to do this today. The Gryphon D100 intercepts the keyboard cable rather than using USB.
Thanks.
