Hi
When I shutdown VRPC I select the option to return to windows. This always generates an error message from VA Shutdown, Bad Command 12.
All I can do at this point is ALT+Rtn to enable me to close the VA window.
Is there a fix available for this?
Cheers
Gary

The only "fix" would be for you to undo whatever you did to cause the problem in the first place :) Seriously though, this is not a known problem and I have no record of having it reported to me before so I would suggest it is something specific to your VA setup.

I don't think so. It has been reported on the VirtualRPC-SA part of this forum and I get the same error with VirtualRPC-SE after having applied the December 2006 upgrade. Any ideas?

OK, the original posting was in November, and looked like a one off, as I didn't have any further reports of this until December, hence my response.
Anyway I still can't seem to reproduce this problem. So can everyone who suffers from it please answer the following questions and e-mail me the answers, then I can collate it and see if I can see the commonality. Please don't post the answers here as that won't help.
Questions are:
OK, I've now seen further reports of this, but still can't make it
happen here, so I am e-mialing everyone the same list of
questions to try and get to the bottom of it.
What exactly is the error message?
When exactly does it happen?
Which type of VirtualAcorn?
SE, SA, Adjust, AdjustSA
Which version of VirtualAcorn is it?
Version 1.6 is the latest.
Which version of RISC OS is being run?
4.02, 4.39 etc
If Select which version?
3i1, 2i3 etc
If Select does the problem occur in the base OS (4.02)?
Yes/No
Which version of Windows is being used?
2000/XP
When did the problem start?
Is power management enabled in VirtualAcorn?

This thread is closed as the original query did not relate to VirtualRPC-AdjustSA, but VirtualRPC-SA. Can users please ensure they post queries to the correct forums as it makes it much easier to track down problems.
As it was I've been looking in the VRPC-SA and AjustSA for a problem that actually effects just versions of VirtualAcorn with RISC OS 4.02.
Thread is now moved to the VirtualRPC-SA support forum.
