Hi,
Great to hear about the FileV/iSV bug fix and new features - I've got a couple of questions:
- How much "faster" is the screen update?
- Does the inclusion of CallWin32 etc mean that mouse scroll wheels will now work inside VRPC?
- Are there any other bug fixes included? If so, which ones? If not, is there any active work going on to address them?
Thanks,
Adam

The speed update depends on your graphics chip set and the size of the screen you are running. I've run some quick tests on my el-cheapo laptop and I'm getting about 10% quicker using a timed drawfile rendering test.
We not currently including MouseSync.dll as it still has issues, although we intend to add it as a free update later on once some more work has been done.

What exactly does this feature do?
Quote:
Autolaunch files under Windows from inside RISC OS with the VirtualAcorn Windows Controller.

It allows you to load a file into a Windows prog instead of a RISC OS one. Suppose you have an HTML file. A normal double click will load it into a RISC OS browser. A special (key held down) double click will load the HTML file into a Windows browser.

How do you enable this behavior and what is the special key combination. I can't find anything in the documentation. I'm currently using the ARM700 processor because of the slow mouse pointer problem discussed in another thread.

I'm not in front of the docs machine at the moment, but I seem to recall that the key is ALT GRY. So find a file both sides can understand, hold down ALT GRY, then double click on the file.

Have you made any progress with this? It's the main reason I haven't yet upgraded :(

Sorry no. We are trying to get the Mac version finished first.

I've just been trying this (VRPC AdjustSA) but can't get it to work. I've tried 'Alt' AND/OR 'Alt Gr' to no avail...

Well it seems to work OK here on XP Pro - I suppose the program that does this could be missing - check for:
VA Windows Controller
In the tasks window.

Right this has been solved. MiniDisc is the culprit - quit this and the VRPC Windows Controller then works.
