 Post subject: Issues with RPC-SA and Windows 8.1

I have recently purchased VirtualRPC-SA and have installed it on a lenovo ideapad running windows 8.1
Installation was fine and I followed the instructions re changing the user account etc.
Although VA runs okay, it always crashes on shutdown, resulting in a windows error message. As a result, the next start up appears to be treated as if from new, meaning that the welcome comes up every time.
Any ideas gratefully accepted!

Please could you post details of the fix? TIA.

(Bearing in mind Microsoft no longer support Windows XP, maybe an increasing number of punters will move up to Windows 7/8, so may hit the same sort of snag with VirtualRPC.)
