I have removed the 'floppy' disc icon as it will not be required.

I have removed the WinClip icon as I don't need it (and got fed up looking at a white box with a question mark - problem with iconbar icon?).

They were easy.

I also want to remove the MemNow icon. I couldn't find the application! It's well hidden. Thankfully my previous query came up with it at !Boot.Choices.Boot.Tasks!! I don't want to delete it or move it, just stop it 'running'. How do I do that?

I can't think of a convenient way to prevent it running if it's an application in Tasks.

IMHO the simplest ploy would be to move it out of Boot into, say, the Utilities folder.

Not exactly what you asked for, but HTH.

The Winclicp icon with the question mark simply indicates that there is nothing in the Clipboard. It's not a problem with the app.

Re the MemNow application.

I've been 'poking' around in the !Run file and have 'commented' the last line to read

|/MemNow:!RunImage

Application no longer appears on the Iconbar and hopefully this method does not cause any other problems.

That will have the result that you have been looking for.

But you will not be able to run the application manually, if you want to .....
..... but, no great loss, there :)
