I have several copies of VRPC including -SA and -SE. Appart from a problem I've just posted about -SE its pretty reliable, but since getting -SA I've noticed that something gets it into a state where trying to run various applications results in "Bad pointer passed to Wimp". This seems to happen with my KlikMacro, PipeDream, DPlngScan especially but other things too.
Its impossible to be specific about the events leading up to this condition because I run so much all the time. When the problem occurs it seems that sometimes shutting down one of the running apps will temporarily eliminate the problem but other times I have to reboot.
Any ideas?

It's going to be a RISC OS issue, something is "happening" inside the RISC OS enivironment that is causing it. You will need to un-install the various add on bits (e.g. UniServer) and then see what causes the problem when it's put back.
I have no other reports of this on file.
